There are already established groups taking a stand against littering. With your help we can achieve better, faster results throughout the Tillingbourne Valley.

Thinking of starting a litter picking group, but need some advice on practicalities, safety, promotion?

Our network of existing groups are happy to help you get started, loan equipment and come along to your initial litter picks.

Community Resources

Guildford Borough Council & Mole Valley Council

Guildford Borough Council and Mole Valley District Council can provide equipment and give you safety guidance. Equipment is limited to 25 sets per group. They will arrange a place to collect the rubbish after your gang have completed the litter pick.

Community Loan Equipment

We have equipment which is shared between local groups. If you would like to borrow litter pickers, large bags to collect in or even use of a van- we can help!

If you want to buy your own group equipment we can also help with raising funds and suggestions for the best suppliers.
